Καλωσορίζουμε τον Ύπατο Αρμοστή της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας στον Καναδά, κ. Σταύρο Χατζηγιάννη

Με μεγάλη χαρά και τιμή, η κυπριακή κοινότητα του Καναδά καλωσορίζει τον νέο Ύπατο Αρμοστή της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας, κ. Σταύρο Χατζηγιάννη, στην χώρα μας. Ο κ. Χατζηγιάννης, με μακρά και επιτυχημένη καριέρα στη διπλωματική υπηρεσία της Κύπρου, αναλαμβάνει τα νέα του καθήκοντα στον Καναδά, φέρνοντας μαζί του έναν πλούτο εμπειρίας και γνώσης που θα συμβάλλει ουσιαστικά στην ενδυνάμωση των σχέσεων μεταξύ Κύπρου και Καναδά.
Ο κ. Χατζηγιάννης γεννήθηκε το 1970 στη Λευκωσία και είναι απόφοιτος της Νομικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Διεθνές και Ευρωπαϊκό Δίκαιο από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Λίβερπουλ. Η μακρά του θητεία στο Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας και η ενεργή συμμετοχή του σε διαπραγματεύσεις και διπλωματικές αποστολές στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, τον καθιστούν έναν καταρτισμένο και επιτυχημένο διπλωμάτη.
